Manufacturing tasks require equipment that fits the production process as well as the available space. JQLIFT helps customers evaluate lifting and positioning solutions for component installation, assembly support and access around industrial equipment.
The starting point is a clear understanding of what must be lifted, where it must be positioned and how the equipment will move through the workplace.
Component Installation and Assembly
When a component needs to be raised into an installation position, the selection process should consider its weight, dimensions, center of gravity and required alignment.
A suitable lifting solution must also account for the space beneath the assembly, the available approach route and the positioning adjustments needed at the workstation.
Access for Production and Maintenance
Tasks around large equipment may require an elevated work platform with a layout suited to the work area. Platform height, operator space, tools, surrounding obstacles and access conditions should be reviewed together.
Personnel access and material lifting have different requirements. The selected equipment must be designed and approved for its intended use.
Movement Within the Facility
Production layouts can limit how equipment approaches a workstation. Share aisle dimensions, turning areas, floor conditions and the required direction of travel.
Where specialized movement or positioning is needed, provide a layout drawing so the proposed arrangement can be assessed before ordering.
